I completely agree. You know, when I think of the "crime" of "illegally discharging a firearm", I think of a victimless event where the shooter is target practicing against stumps in the woods, with absolutely no one around -- but, unfortunately, he may have been within a jurisdiction that bans discharging a firearm in the area, so it is technically illegal.

In stark contrast, when I think of someone, like the Black miscreant who perpetrated today's massacre, shooting a gun into his neighbor's apartment on purpose, I definitely don't consider that offense "illegally discharging a firearm." Obviously, this is a real crime and it is far more serious.

I'm just stunned that this miscreant wasn't in prison, or in a nuthouse being treated for mental illness, or in a prison nuthouse being punished and treated.

These repeat offenders all make my blood boil. Virtually every time, it is a repeat offender or someone who flashed countless signs that he was capable and on the verge of killing and hurting a lot of innocent people. The offender is almost always a devout leftist (e.g. Democratic Party constituent and voter).
