<<< Wingnuts will be sad->>>

The dr in charge of the medical facility had it right; we have to work together so this can be stopped. There is no one answer. Nibbling at the gun laws will do nothing but continue the polarization of America. Or even make it worse! The news out this morning is that he went into the facility with one gun .........a shotgun. A shotgun, the easiest gun to buy in America and a gun not even the most liberal of democrats are even hinting at restricting.

It's as if God is testing us. Testing democrats who think it is as simple as a new law to restrict guns. Republicans who think there is no law that will help. Both sides are ugly at fault. Both sides need to climb out of their ideological corners and stop the insidious hatred for the other side.

"it wasn't a Muslim like they hoped and dreamed."

I read the guy was a Buddhist. Didn't act like one though.

I hope he media start to focus on the two most important issues this shooting raises:

1. How did someone with clear anger and gun management issues, who received a general discharge from the US navy (the equivalent of being let go because the navy decided he did not fit their culture), get clearance to work as a contractor in a naval facility??

2. How did he sneak a shotgun into a naval facility that appears on the surface to have a reasonable amount of security??
