*AV*--Geez, what a memory. Maui Wowie, Kona Gold, Acaulpulco Gold, Thai stick, simsemilla, and of course Hash were all familar terms when I was in college but the word on the streets is that they are compared to backyard foliage compared to what has been cultivated over the past few years. Apparently even the US Gov't has a couple of good high quality patches as sources for medicinal uses. But by far, the real genius behind the improvements made seem to be the Tobacco companies and their test fields in South America, in preparation and hopes of Legalization over the next few years.

Is it true that California (Figures, don't it) passed laws allowing medicinal Pot to be prescribed by doctors for a host of ailments. Now I know why the CA population is growing and what they are growing<G>.

BTW-the source of all this information are my students in Project Business (part of Junior Achievement). One class period is devoted to whatever they want to discuss. Unfortunately, they took it to the extreme this semester with questions relative to the profits and taxes that could be collected as a result of the legalization of marijuana.
The tragedy is that I was with a class of 9th graders. Scarier is that some of it actually made good business sense.
