Saving lives by opposing the death penalty. Facts: There are thousands of documented cases of convicted violent criminals that were given numerous chances and then murdered innocent women and children. I think it is possible that some day a person will be subject to the death penalty, then later found innocent, which would be sad. However, those who have been put on death row and eventually executed are the most heinous of all heinous criminals and the evidence is usually overwhelming. Not to mention they are often criminals who've been given numerous chances in the past.
