Night Writer,

The theory here is that of an emerging industry. Will biometrics take it's place as the next growth industry? If the answer is yes, then Identix will be the stock of choice. Identix is the only pure play on biometrics that most funds or savy inverstors can/will buy.

As funny as this may sound.....forget last years 5 cents and 160 PE. They really don't mean alot. What does mean alot is the fact that IDX is just about doubling in size each year while they are leaving whatever compitition they have in the dust.

The Sylvan Joint Venture is about to place Identix machines nation-wide in order to capture the civilian market. Stock Brokers will be printed on a TP-600....So will school teachers, bus drivers, doctors, and boy scout leaders. Identix is just about to take a dominating position in this market.....which will grow as the world becomes more security-minded....and is very high-margin, I might add.

Several brokerages have just decided that biometrics is for real......As they, and their investors do some DD....they will discover the potential and will be happy to buy the story. In a way.......the ground floor is now.

When folks figure out the $ that will be spent on live-scan and biometric authentication machines in the next five years......they too, will bite the big PE...and load up on the future. The concept is simple. Go back to when Micron, Netscape, or Microsoft had a market cap of 300 million.....and pretend that you bought 10,000 shares. What would it be worth today? IDX at 200 in five years? Yup!
