But nowhere have I seen anyone show data that what we're now seeing isn't at least partially caused by CO2 rise.

your pulling a bait and switch here.

I say

Anthropocentric global warming isn't an extreme claim.

Major anthropocentric global warming disaster scenarios if we don't eliminate somewhere between a strong majority and almost all human emission of CO2 in a few years to a couple of decades, combined with the belief that we can reasonably easily do so and if we do there won't be the disaster is a rather extreme claim, and one with rather thin evidence to support it.

Then you argue basically that the first isn't extreme, as if that supported the 2nd. It doesn't.

rising CO2 and rising temps.......the data is clear and convincing

Have you checked the IPCC reports lately - all the data shows there has been no warming while CO2 has been continually rising for the past decade or more.

It's time to examine why the models are so wrong.

That's the kind of non-thinking accept the narrative thing we expect from liberals.

The data isn't clear and convincing. The alarmists base their claims on computer models that have a record of failed predictions. As for big oil producers, they will sell the energy people want. You and your family use fossil fuels .... don't blame the people who sell you what you want.

If alarmists really mean what they say, you should stop using fossil fuels. Now. Not bitching at people selling you what you want. Tell your wife to do your laundry by hand and dry it on a line. Scrap your car. Stop going to the supermarket, raise your food in your backyard garden. And for Gaia's sake stop the unnecessary international trips to overseas tourist traps. Those planes fly on kerosene produced by Exxon.
