melissa, chaz et al: still on the road but returning from NYC late tuesday. Maybe my new apache tape will have arrived, since I couldn'g read the first one (bought it from rtr so i could get help if i need it.) ALmost got it working before I had to leave town, but damaged media stopped me cold. this will give me the web server platform that we can start with.

So, I should be able to get the thread up by end of the weekend. THis is my first appache install; am doing this with AIX and will use FrontPAGE 98 extensions, so if anyone with experience in our group that can help just send me an email. also, I can't seem to check mailserver from my road machine or ping my servers, but CAN access my webs -- since on the road i dial into aol, thte win95 tcp/ip parms for this connection conflict with the tcp/ip parms for my ethernet board (static ip addr in my home domain), i guess.... so sorry if i'm late replying to emails and cannot report success with the private web server, but later this week I will make great progress..

I am basically skipping very quickly over postings from folks we don't "know", but the magic cap piece was interesting (if bizzare in the way the history/origin of the company was forgotten!!) i almost bought into this one several times...

ah well, back to cathcing up. i will send personall emails with progres end of week. here's hoping our favorite stock stays above 6!

harry

Marc,
I use both fundamental and technical analysis when I look at a company. I weight the fundamentals when I " invest " in small caps and weight the technicals when I " trade " larger cap companies.
MTEL is a bigger cap company with a good chart ( and no earnings yet ) Analyst like the stock as it has been doing very well this year.
HNV a little of both . . . looking for a profit in the 4th qtr. Good insider buying . .. good chart.
TSSW undervalued in my opinion with some instititutional buying ( 2.8% ) and 3 new products.

I still like BIPL. . Do you still follow this company?
