Great minds must think alike! What follows is a repost from AOL's O&G board. PEngr is one of the gurus from there as you are here. He correctly anticipated the November correction as well as the December turn. I don't like it but I'm not going to sit on my hands either.

We have enjoyed a rapid run since my 12/2, 12/3 posts.

As stated in my 12/2 post, I expect that there should be some backing and
filling ("a few months of base building"). However, since that time, the moves
have been meteoric!!

I think that the group is a bit extended, on a short-term basis, at todays prices.
Most of the stocks are moving up on diminishing volume as they near 50 day
M.A.s.

I expect them to pullback from these levels---and at least make an attempt
to retest the recent lows, although perhaps stop short by a point or two.

I lightened up today, by selling 50% across the board (of the portfolio posted 12/2).
Will sell more into strength, absent a correction to the recent run-up(s).

Will post my re-entry(s) as and when they occur!!!

All IMHO!!
P Engr.
