Read Replies (1) | Respond to of 1575446 Democrats have always declared themselves to be the caring, for-the-little-people, for-the-children party. Whenever they want to make political points, they pull out their tug-on-the-heartstrings mantra claiming that the republicans want old people to eat cat food and children to starve. Yet anyone who has been paying attention, especially over the last fifty years, knows full well that, to leftists, individual people are nothing more than a part of a collective whole. They have no value on their own. And the collective whole is only valuable insofar as it can further the aims of the leftist political agenda. The most accurate, telling pictorial example of this dichotomy took place when Bill Clinton was exiting from Ron Brown's funeral, laughing himself silly ... until he recognized that he was on camera ... at which point his demeanor instantly changed from jovial to mournful, including the wiping of a fake tear from his eye. tobefree.wordpress.com Every time I hear a leftist talk about his own compassion, his life-long devotion to helping the common man, that picture of Clinton forms in my mind, because it is the epitome of the leftist mindset. There is one face placed before the microphone and the camera ... a compassionate, self-sacrificing one ... and that facade sits 180-degrees distant from his genuine goals, which are to oppress the masses and install a ruling elite who will make all the important decisions for the rest of us, utterly destroying individual freedoms, and our God-given free will. I was picturing Clinton's phony tears, yet again, as I read this story about what the democrats did to the families of the Benghazi victims. The caring party did not have the courtesy to listen to people whose loved ones perished, some of them in unspeakably torturous ways, as a direct result of the dereliction of duty of the caring party's president and the the caring party's secretary of state. And yet, the next time conservatives on the hill balk at an increase in entitlement spending, these same cretins will dare to call them heartless!
