While this weeks Fed jabber resulted in a flash in the pan for gold, I suspect the looming pressure of easing will dominate the AU mkt until the easing materializes. All things being relative, Ben could just as easily surprise the market next meeting w/ more drama by announcing extreme easing. Only time will tell.

Fed will ease at some point...and the AU mkt is sensing this...

The lid is on AU until the next major econ issue pops up... and that might take a while....

Can they ease? Can they not? Both camps have good arguments. So until that is resolved, I just look for lower hanging fruit elsewhere.
