Their commitment has been to globalization and shareholder profit rather than what's good for the country..........and their mega salaries. Globalization and shareholder returns have nothing to do with mega salaries. Indeed, you can cite hundreds of examples where the CEOs have been paid handsomely while shareholders got screwed over and the company's global influence diminished. Fine. We can have it both ways if you want. The point still remains that CEOs are overpaid for what they do. And let me add football coaches, ball players, and actors to that mix.
