Banks are eager to LEND......

The reason they have so much money is:

  • Lending standards have been adjusted [They are being more prudent as to who they lend to. As per my previous post they are now actually doing a diligent review of the borrowers Character and Capacity to repay]
  • The pool of qualified borrowers is much smaller due to the above and the collapse of the economy.

Exactly... giving it to banks so they can lend it out with interest is just Baloney and a scam, it only helps the banks, not the economy ...<ng>
