In a meeting in Towson, MD, a man gets thrown out for asking questions about Common Core.
longnshort, could you interpret your understanding of the Common Core Curriculum? As you and I both know, students coming out of school today regardless of the college they attend will have tremendous debt if they do not have scholarships, unless their parents pay for their schooling, or work their way through school. If they make the wrong selection of an occupation of their choosing they may not find work even though they have a college degree or trade. Jobs now require not only the requirements of the basic reading, writing and math, and computers, but must be able to interpret, problem-solve, and apply what they learned. The electives of humanities many of the time are left on the sidelines.

Most public schools in the mid-west have a annual tuition of around $28,000 I have been told. With private college schools in the high $30,000-40,000. Many students may be better off if they entered a trade school for obtaining future employment.

Wasn't the parent arrested and now faces jail for asking the question?
