What are these people thinking? Blocking public highways, ignoring noise abatement laws, no parade permit, possible interference with Interstate Commerce, creating a public nuisance, etc. That cop is derelict in his duty. These people have to realize that they no longer live in an unpopulated desert, but need to practice their religion without infringing on everyone else's rights, too. What is the next thing they'll claim as an integral part of their "rights"? Clitoral mutilation? Pedophilia? Stonings in Battery Park? Only God knows. If their customs are incompatible with our laws, they should immigrate elsewhere. We have enough problems with people that refuse to assimilate into our society, rather they try to subvert it, and overthrow us.
