can you believe computer associates is running a pe of 70.
i agree with you, the technology growth cycle, as spectacular as it has been, is starting to top off.
the only technology issues that are going to do well are selective IT companies. until today i though that ERP vendors like SAP and Peoplesoft might also continue to grow rapidly, but with news from oracle, which gets lots of revenues from erp, i don't think that is likely to happen in the coming years. besides, their pe is well above 100.
bottom line: focus on systems integration/IT companies that have more than 95% business HERE in the good ole 'USA (and are growing like crazy).

earnings news coming out of the tech sector for several months now
and people are still buying tech stocks like nothing is wrong!!!"
