I think it's YOU that's taking Jesus's statements out of context. Like most cafeteria Christians, you reject that Jesus was no friend of the wealthy, was ALL ABOUT the poor, sick and least among us, and fall back on his "forgiveness".

It's really be easier for you just to admit you're not an actual practicing Christian, but a worshiper of Mammon.

Nope. Your interpretation might be ok if the eye of the needle was his only mention. But there are plenty of others. Like when he warns that the wealthy get their rewards only on earth. That's pretty clear that the final gate they walk through won't he pearly...
