Inode, There are people whose labor simply isn't worth the minimum wage, particularly given the global economy You can always point to countries where people make a small fraction of the American minimum wage. For most people in those countries, they're just happy to have any paycheck. And the potential for nutjobs to demand unreasonable minimum wages -- and get it -- is great. They're going to bitch no matter what. Even if the minimum wage rose to $20/hour, they're still going to complain about CEO's making millions.
