If it had been "Republican" idea, it would have gotten more than ZERO votes.

Why don't the Republicans try to work this thing out and make it better rather than just trying to get rid of it completely?

Killing it would make it better. That is, what we are losing now is better than what Obamacare will give us. 85% of people with health insurance that they're satisfied with.

They KNOW they aren't going to just end it.

I don't know that. It really is so bad, no one really wants it, that it can be killed. Wait till people w/o insurance find out they have to pay a tax penalty for not having insurance.

But the Republicans aren't doing anything to make things better they're just trying to play to their own factions and hope they can make the Democrats look bad.

Killing it WOULD be an improvement. It isn't right for Democrats to royally FU and expect Republicans to fix their FU for them, all the while being demagogued for it.

Why don't they go in there and say we should have "Tort Reform" and then they'll work on the other stuff?

They have been pushing tort reform. Democrats refuse to allow it. Trial lawyers are a major base of Democratic contributions.

We really NEED tort reform on these medical issues....but I don't see the Republicans really fighting for it.

Republicans are the ONLY political force for tort reform. And you, a typical low information voter, are against Republicans over this issue. Do you realize how silly that is?
