Check out the Florida Keys:

(Stupid iPad won't let me copy/paste the Google URL! Just Google: "houseboat rental Florida Keys". LOTS of hits!)

all we'd have to do is be on the lookout for sharks.

...and the noseeums, which can be worse. They attack everyone.

imho, there is no location in CONUS
that is 'warm' in the winter. Maybe
Miami or the Keys, or san Diego.

My military time was spent in Biloxi,
and even there it is cold for 6-8 weeks
in the winter. It got as low as 17° at
night there. Daytime was usually
45-50°.
