That will last for a couple of decades, at most. We should be able to deal with it. We're a very wealthy place.

Health care costs haven't been skyrocketing the last couple of years, so that's neither here nor there. Pension issues have little to do with costs. The biggest problems for them are that they've been spent on other things and/or misinvested.

For argument's sake, if these pensions didn't have funding issues, would you be for them?
