Judaism doesn't have a devil -- the term Satan is used as a general term for someone who opposes God or someone who tries to keep people from having a connection to God. It refers to several different characters. Christianity essentially rolled all of them into one. -Z

Sacred Scripture could not be any more clear: Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. (1 John 2:22-23) The unbelieving Jews do not accept the Son, therefore they do not have the Father either. So how could the unbelieving Jews share the same God as Christians? Christ told the Jews: Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. (John 8:44)
