Steve (or anyone with the technical skills),

Just doing some major brainstorming here after reading the Brocade/Sequent press release and was wondering if you knew how difficult it would be to replace the Brocade switch with an Ancor MKII? The point would be for Ancor to demonstrate the superiority of its switch(due to the latency advantage of 500ms vs 2000ms in the class 3 mode). If this swapout is at all possible I wonder if it might not be a good idea for Ancor to do this and then issue a press release of its own detailing the results. Can you imagine the implications if Sequent started getting requests for Ancor's switches in their NUMA machines?

Regards...Craig

Steve,

Do you see anything wrong with trying to enumerate the 15-20 OEMs that we are estimating are out there? Players like Ancor and Brocade know who they are anyway, but I'd like to compile a list of them. As someone else posted a while back, it is tough to come up with 15-20 names. Based on the Brocade press release, I would also like to consider systems integrators.
