Right now the Republicans seem to be putting themselves into a corner which could actually lead to a default or alternatively the Democrats are putting themselves into a corner which could actually lead to a default. Last I checked the House has passed several bills that cut federal spending in one way or the other, but the Democrats in the Senate say all bills that contain spending cuts are Dead On Arrival. Its only you and the Main-Stream-Media that are trying to blame the Republicans, why can't the Democrats agree to cuts in federal spending.
