Longevity is also a function of genes, and runs in families. Check you family tree, which might provide you a clue as to your longevity. Aggravations,life-stresses and thier effects on one's body and mind are modulated to a certain extent by genes. Just a teaser for you. Stephen, the actions in the market are enough to upset the most diehard but on the other side of the coin I do not know how any of us can second guess from day to day the right moves to better our portfolio value without risking substantial losses through quick speculative trading. Buy the good companies and leave alone for the long term.
