Looks like Dupont is shipping it no process plate NOW! Looks like you were wrong again.

From the Gerber web site:

"The processless dream was realized at Imprinta in June, 1997 when Gerber showed the DuPont SDT plate,
which shares some of the characteristics of the Presstek ablation plate but is available today, in production
quantities, on Gerber platesetters. "

Count Gold, $38 is well within the resistance zone. I prefer sacrificing $3 to make sure that I am right. At $41, the probability that I am right is quite high! Especially on nicely higher volume.
