We did an 18 day trip to Fl driving by car from top to bottom a couple of yrs ago. Flew into Orlando, drove up to St. Augustine and stayed with friends for 3 days. Loved St. Augustine...............full of history and everything a tourist could want. I distinctly remember having a beer in the Taberna del Gallo, which was built in 1734, walking around town and spending time at the Castillo De San Marcos. Also remember spending hours at Flagler College and being absolutely amazed at the amount of Tiffany lighting, furniture, wood work and glass.

Next it was off to points south, and a 3 day stay at Disney World. Another day and night at Cocoa Beach, and the scenic drive down hwy 1 through all of those beautiful coasty towns. After visiting "World Wide Sportsman" in Islamorada, we ended up stopping in Key Largo and loved it so much we stayed an extra day. We had friends in Key West, and spent another 4 days with them. I could see doing all of that in an RV, but it sounds like we'd need to make reservations far ahead of time.
