Also checked a few more candlesticks...SLB and HAL didn't look that good...Correction before next leg up?

If the correction contained 5 waves, then that would indicate that it was a primary move. Thus, this current rally should be of the 3-wave variety, and is just a bear market rally. Just thinking out loud . . .

Dlucas, you can run into trouble using elliott wave on individual stocks unless they are big-cap (i.e. GE, IBM, etc.). As a 17+ year user of Elliott Wave analysis (taught by r. prechtor) I have learned to use this as a confirming tool of market direction (Dow, SP500, NASDAQ, commodities, etc.); by the way, the 5-wave pattern you mentioned can also appear in corrective waves (A,B,C patterns in the form of a 5-3-5 or a 3-3-5...p 45 Elliott Wave Principle --- Frost and Prechtor).
