This is all the big fat foot in the door to fully tax all benefits as income, when it really isn't income. Nobody gets to spend money that employers pay for insurance. What's next? Let's say you're employer pays $50,000 a year for insurance against floods and fires at the company? Is that next going to be distributed among employees and considered income to them?
