You have very good points. And for that reason, my comments have always (or almost ) suggested that ZEN looked to be in the driver's seat and in the long term could well win the race.

But we can't be sure of when and what price ZEN will receive as there are still a lot of uncertainties.

As someone said, if the market was sure that the predicted production 100,000 tonnes of high purity graphite could all be sold at more than $7K/tonne the stock would be much higher.

Depending on the costs of production, that could be worth a market cap 10-20 times as much as what we have now, if not more.

But at the moment, we don't know. Well at least, I don't know.

Excellent post Thresh.

The other important point and I posted the links before, when jet milling flake graphite to "sphericalize" them, you end up with a lower quality product that had damaged edges, cracks and fissures. In the end, hydrothermal is what will win.

Holding tight!

Ask NGC where they had to send their graphite to up the purity levels.

news.yahoo.com

Base on this news and September updated to their feasibility study, it looks like NGC may be able to produce battery grade graphite for $1800/tonne.

ZEN should be able to do better than that if its graphite has the good charracteristics.

Mason which has the best deposit in terms of grade and strip ratio could cut down costs even more if it find its own process similar to NGC.

The race is still on even if ZEN is the favorite.

BTW, any opinion on the claims made by NGC on the synthetic graphite market.
