Wow you folks deserve this new dry air pattern. Rain rain go away!

Tis great, and the temps are down a bit. 71° this AM, but still 95% humidity before dawn. Even a bit of an occasional breeze from the north.

Now if you good northern folks would send down one of those weak cold fronts we might get lows that start with a 6 and highs that start with an 8 and end with a middle digit, and lower humidity. We've been dreaming about that for 5 months running.

(Had the house open for a couple of hours this morning, first time since May).

I made a big mistake not picking the last of my basil the other day. We are now being hit a huge system, heavy rain and strong winds from what used to be a sub-tropical low. They are talking about possible 100kph winds in Vancouver itself, which means things will really be rocking in more exposed locations.
