Petz,

Compaq does sell a 200MHz Tillamook notebook for $3799.

I'm not sure what their product line-up will look like in January if the reports are accurate. It will definitely cause a shake up. Look at what's happened in the consumer market for desktop PCs. Compaq changed the whole retail ball game back in February and they look like they want to do the same in notebooks.

Bob

BTW, Looked at the abstract to your patent. That's some hardcore stuff!

Petz - Re: "Apparently Compaq has not announced a Tillamook CPU notebook. Is that true? Or is PC Connection just not selling it?"

The Compaq Presario 1680 is a 200 MHz Tillamook notebook PC - available in the Bay area for about 2 months now.
