4 years after the recession and we are still waiting for a jobs program. First recession in a century without one. Still waiting for government to hire. First recession in 100 years where it didn't. If Congress was doing its job, the Fed wouldn't have to bend pretzels to keep us above water.

So 4 years after the recession and we still have $85B a month in Fed Reserve bond purchases and ZIRP.

Never said it was normal. Neither was the recession caused by American conservatives. Conservatives caused this mess and now they want everything to go back together easy peasy. It doesn't work that way MM.

You call that normal? I call that extraordinary measures. If the economy was doing fine, then these extraordinary stimulus measures wouldn't be necessary. Now, we've tipped over into the point where these measures are creating massive distortions.

I call your lack of understanding of what's happening extraordinary.
