The Church , those in Christ Jesus, will never pass away because they are born of the Word of God which endures forever. --------------------------------------- I simply don't know the time and the day but I can provide you with my understanding in a few sentences. Evil has been operating in the world from the beginning. After the flood we see the worldly system represented by the Tower of Babel. It is no accident that the sins reflected in the Tower of Babel where man seeks to compete with God (clearly guided by Satan) were transferred to the city of Babylon of biblical fame. There we see and increased development of man's faith in self rather than faith in God passed down from Noah. Babylon was part of the Chaldean culture where Abraham ( our father in faith) and his father Terah were born. Because of Abraham's faith God moved them to leave the Babylonish system and move first to Haran in Assyria and then to the Promised land in Canaan. It was no accident that God used Babylon to punish Abraham's descendants living Judaea in the Babylonian Captivity. Babylon represented the pinnacle of human/worldly progress and development while Judaea represented Abraham's faith in God and faith in divine revelation. The people of God in Judaea had fallen into gross sin and idolatry. God used the Babylonians as a hammer to knock sense back into the heads of the people of faith. There were among the Judaeans those of faith like Abraham and those who lacked faith like Esau. In Babylon, the people of faith repented and were restored to Judaea after a cleansing perior. Those who lacked faith absorbed the godless and idolatrous culture of Babylon where they began developing the traditions of the Babylonian Talmud. These traditions were focused on human reasoning in an attempt to manipulate the divine revelations so that they could have both the worldly benefits of the Babylon system as well as the advantages of the divine word--laws, statutes, testimonies and judgements of God. Of course it never worked because we can never serve both God and the world. After some 70 years in Babylonian Captivity, God rebuilt the Temple and restored the 12 tribes of Israel in their promised land. The norther 10 tribes from the Assyrian Captivity and the southern tribes of Judah and Lavi were reunited as promised. Ezek 37:15-27--the everlasting covenant of peace---Jesus Christ. Before the destruction of the 2nd Temple, God promised the coming of the Messiah which was crucified for the sins of mankind. Daniel 9. Jesus fulfilled the fulness of the Ezekiel prophecies and those of the faith of Abraham among the children of Israel accepted Jesus and those who lacked the faith of Abraham created a new religion based on the Babylonian Talmud with a new priesthood of self-appointed rabbis. This is the great whore (once married to God but now fornicating with Satan in the Synagogue of Satan.) This mystery Babylon now controls the media of the world, the money system of the world, and the most powerful nations in the world since the 1800s. They have martyred over 100,000.000 Christians in their various Communist Revolutions from France, to Russia, to China,etc. They murdered more Christians in 100 years than all Christians martyred in the previous 1900 years. This makes me believe that we are coming quickly towards the end. How long? I don't know but the dominoes seems to be lined up. I'm 100% for forming our thinking and beliefs by the Word of God.
