I suspect Gaia already knows that some global warming is just what the planet needs. Six billion plus fried humans will help the planet back on track and the superbugs currently inadvertently being developed in hospitals will keep the remaining few in check as the planet cools back to a largely human free planet.

A million years from now, a blinking of the eye in Geological time, there wont be any signs left that we were ever here.

Maybe a hot spot over Fukushima where genetically modified super rats like to bathe, but that will be it.
