Horse poop. The Nexus 4 redefined what a $200-$300 unlocked and no contract can get you. The Nexus 4 has the build of the best iPhones and destroys everything out there in usability speed and features, contract or no contract. Everyone in our family is now using Nexus 4s. Nothing beats it. Well... that is till the Nexus 5 comes out. LOL

The low end Android phones come with many generation old OS'es that can't be updated, while the Lumina 520/521 has the latest Win mobile OS. These two models are iTouches ala functional with just wifi. I wonder if Nok will release additional low cost unlocked ones this month.

The results of the poll are finally in and we are please to announce the undisputed winner. So which is the best high end smartphone?Among the six flagships; Samsung, HTC, Sony and LG support Android operating system, while Apple and Nokia ship their devices with iOS and Windows Phone 8 respectively. ALSO READ: 5 Best Android Phones Of 2013 Out of 88 readers who voted on the poll, 11.36% picked Galaxy S4 as the best high end smartphone. Samsung’s sheer marketing efforts that now equal Apple’s standards have been fairly triumphant during the past few years, which clearly shows that the Galaxy S lineup is quite popular among consumers. S4’s primary competitor, the iPhone 5S, successfully outpaced its fierce enemy by taking 14.77% of the readers’ votes. While the difference is fairly marginal, we assume iPhones are again gaining more popularity among most buyers. 17.05% of the total votes went to HTC One, which nailed both the S4 and the 5S. Taking One’s svelte aluminum body and ultra crisp 1080p display into equation – and not to mention an all new, much improved Sense 5.0 – it comes as no surprise that most readers prefer HTC’s top dog over Samsung’s and Apple’s offerings. Sony has been noticed fairly active in the best high end smartphone war lately and its Xperia range of devices further cements this fact. Though the Xperia Z is purportedly an underwhelming performer among our readers as it only won 4.55% votes. Nokia Lumia 1020 is a terrible choice for most of you guys as the phone could only earn a ludicrous 2.27% of the chunk. No wonder the Finnish phone maker recently sold itself to Microsoft in a $7.2 billion deal. So, which one of these smartphones really came at the top spot? It’s none other than the Nexus 4.
