I didn't say that it did. We were talking about both the Constitution and Capitalism within our posts to each other, commiserating that Americans don't seem to value either very much any more. However, if you have done a study of the Founding Fathers, their letters, and their books, then you'd know they very much believed in Capitalism and a very restrained governing state apparatus. One of the critical building blocks of Capitalism includes strong, Constitutionally guaranteed property rights, as part of a suite of individual rights and liberties.

Our Founders put several property rights protections into the Constitution expressly for these reasons. Read here to learn more:
