I was passing through Singapore airport some three months ago and I noticed that two airlines, Singapore and Lufthansa had reserved check-in counters for Chinese travelers only. There were these tour guides who were Chinese and they were escorting groups of Chinese tourists to these checkout counters. I just thought to myself on when these Communist Chinese folks got so rich so as to require special check-in counters etc. Judging from their looks and clothing, looked to me that these were groups from Chinese villages, which was all the more noteworthy.

And PCLN does indeed have a monopoly in India and China. I experience that whenever I visit these two countries on business. Fabulous service from PCLN. during one screw up, Ii got a call from a PCLN folk from the US and that was very impressive. They offered me a free room for the night after checking me into another equivalent hotel in their PCL/Agoda network.

PCLN off to the races. Wonder why they don't split since they have a low float
