I don't have the website. When dealing with these people, I use Internet Explorer in Privacy Mode, so all history was deleted when I closed the browser.

The Web page looked like it was from a legitimate remote access site. I'm sure the India thieves were simply taking advantage of whatever fee technology was available to them.

P.S. Something I forgot to mention: When toying with these crooks, I remove the letters from my disk volumes that contain my data. If they looked for some "digital treasure" all they'd find is a Windows system with NO personal files -- and maybe a few links to drives that "don't exist."

For this, the Command Line utility DiskPart.EXE gets the job done in a jiffy.
