What Exactly Is Bilirubin

It is a liver-related disease that usually occurs within the first few weeks of a child's life. if the disease is not caught in time and then treated, the results can be varying degrees of central nervous system damage and/or brain damage, called kernicterus. If left untreated, it is ultimately fatal."
