I think he's right. The conservative leaning folks on Fox are mostly thinking inside the beltway folks ... they read the NYT or WP and think polls about who is to "blame" matter. But outside the beltway, people don't generally care about the shutdown. The shutdown is just like the sequester ... a good start, but nothing to get too excited about.

Thanks, I did hear Rush say that, and I do think he's right....we are mostly hearing inside the Beltway chatter when we watch most any of the cables or regular stations....BUT we have to remember, that FOXNews mostly at least TRIES to listen and have on the people who disagree with those who think they KNOW everything..... ie.Obama and his Bullypulpit, Schumer(yuk), Biden, Reid, Pelosi...all of whom I disagree with totally..... BUT WHAT other stations have any of the RINOS, OR the Conservatives on much if any of the time.... Still hundreds of thousands of people don't know who these people are--they are leftists because the want handouts, or just don't give a dang....i.e.. The surfer who eats steak and lobster, and surfs for a living.. and uses the food stamps and other government programs generous Americans pay for him to have, even though some of them never can have those items themselves.
