I didn't like the place. As soon as I got an offer in S. Cal., I took it and moved, and never looked back. Tell the truth, you don't really LIKE living there, do you? Have you driven through the whole place on El Camino Real yet? It's a high tech ghetto, with some legacy commodity producers, like Intel. As far as PC and chips being commodities, I'm hardly alone: blogs.indium.com PC's were high tech when this article came out: swtpc.com Followed by this book: amazon.com But, no more.
