You keep referring to the "Catholic/Orthodox Church". If you are trying to associate the Roman Catholic Papacy with the Eastern Orthodox Church, you are gravely mistaken. There was a schism in 1054 A.D., and the Roman Catholics and the Eastern Orthodox have not been in communion for about 1,000 years. They do not share the same confession of faith, and do not even confess the same Creed.

So you must pick one or the other. Either Roman Catholicism is the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church, or the Eastern Orthodox Church is the genuine Bride of Christ. But they cannot BOTH be the One True Church, for they do not hold the same faith.

Trying to mix that which cannot be mixed (truth with falsehood, light with darkness), is ecumenism, the pan-heresy of our age.

Pick one or the other, but don't try and say that the Roman Catholics and the Orthodox Catholic Church can both be the One Church of Christ.
