All conversations on the things of God should be for glorification of God, for the edification of Christians and for the salvation of those not yet saved. It should never be to simply win and arguments or to demonstrate superior grasp of a theological point. Doctrines and dogmas are very important in the Christian faith but their ultimate goal is to glorify God, edify God's people and help unbelievers believe. I think these principles should be central as we wrestle with our faith and religious beliefs.

You are correct that I did not phrase that question properly. When I said "religion" in context to my question and thought, I was comparing RC to most of the Protestant denominations, not Islam, pure Judaism, Buddhism, etc.

You continue to speak with forked tongue, trying to associate two different churches, one true and the other false, with one another. By your own admission and your advocacy of following the Creed, there is only ONE, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church, yet you are attempting to promote two. Your testimony denies the very Creed you make a pretense of upholding.

How can the (Roman) Catholics and the Orthodox be part of the same Church if they hold different doctrines, and altogether different confessions of faith, and have not been in communion for a thousand years because of it? The Roman Catholic papacy is responsible for the murder (martyrdom) of countless Orthodox saints, and you have the audacity (or ignorance?) to pretend they equally co-exist within the same Church?

One of these churches fell away from the truth, into heresy.

STOP misleading people here by implying that the Eastern Orthodox Church is the same Apostolic Church of the Gospels as the heretical papacy.

Don't attempt to mix light with darkness. Light scatters the darkness, it does not mix with it. The genuine Apostolic Church of Christ does not, and never has submitted to a Universal Pope. Orthodox saints refer to the modern papacy as the forerunner of Antichrist.
