We do not need a "scorched earth" politics that has come to signify the Tea Party. We don't negotiate with those who adopt that. Only terrorists do. It does not matter that it is constitutional. Hitler also came to power by constitutional means. But does that mean that Hitler's tactics had any semblance of something that people should accept!!!!! What sort of a democracy we have where just about 55 out of 540 members of Congress can hold this country at knifepoint. What a crap Boehner is. He wants to work with these 55 or so members first and then with the rest.
