No offence to you! I suppose you are thinking of Armageddon or you are a Howard Ruff type of Mormon who habitually takes precautions against all sorts of calamities?

Gold bullion coins might be the most practical alternative to hold at home. For small change old silver coins (dated prior to 1967) are good too!

Wiseowl and all, Much mention of the Y2K and EMU problem. Both lengthly and invoved subjects - and ever changing. A good souce of info is www.jpmorgan.com which covers both in depth. The Y2k was a 17 pager the last I looked - graphs and all. I believe these are updated - at what rate I'm not sure. Put your feet up!

Regards,
