Not only will they get that kind of support, they will get a major retail channel of their own.

I'm posting my Nokia handset related stories to various other threads.

"
Today, Samsung had a 10 consecutive full page ad in the New York Times. Will Nokia get that kind of support? I doubt it."

Nokia and Microsoft have not been stingy about marketing. They have paid promotional considerations on every show on primetime.

The question is whether it has helped. Seems like they are pushing on a rope.

These are the things that are important to me:

The buildout of LTE for wireless networks,
connected cars,
mapping and indoor location,
The rise of apps waiting for indoor location to be perfected
sensors (havent heard too much about that But I get a feeling its important to them),
advanced technologies,
Patent licensing and monetization
NSN margins,
HERE licensing, profits and margins

Reinstituting a dividend of some kind,
The return of real earnings
The return of a strong capital structure
A Focus on Rewarding shareholders in some fashion.
