>> Over the centuries, the Catholic Church has converted more people to the faith,

For the last thousand years, the church of the Latins has been in schism and heresy. This verse would apply to them:

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

>> ... fed more hungry people, stood up for more poor people, preached more Gospel sermons, and taught more children the faith than all the Protestant denominations combined.

And all of these works are in vain, because they are not done for Christ's sake in the bonds of charity and unity, but are works to be seen of men.

And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

"Discord cannot attain to the kingdom of heaven; to the rewards of Christ, who said, "This is my commandment that ye love one another even as I have loved you:" he cannot attain who has violated the love of Christ by faithless dissension." St. Cyprian
