No they haven't.

Not in Hawaii, not in cities and counties with most of the lowest performing schools districts, and not even on the national level. The Democrats controlled both houses of congress for most of the twentieth century, and at least one house for much of the rest of that time.

The republicans have been more in control than the dems the last 50 years.
A conveniently chosen time frame which excludes the reign of King Franklin. Why not include the dismal results from when progressives were in charge?
