There are just far too many moving parts here to make that judgment at this time.

Reid & Obama said, "We won't negotiate". That's a losing position, right there, if the House can get its message out (big IF).

As the debt ceiling deadline draws near, the pressure will be immense, and rational people are going to recognize that a man who says, "I won't negotiate" is the problem.

If the Obamacare rollout is still on the skids a week from now, the support for the House position may grow fast.

The House does need to convey to people, 95% of whom do not understand that the House has not only the right, but the responsibility, to do what it is doing. This is a tough assignment given the left wing nutjob media but it is not an impossible one.

This thing could easily go either way in the coming week depending on who wins the PR battle.
