"He probably won't have the time, so you shouldn't take it as a criticism."

That is reassuring...

I thought of a question for you if you are comfortable sharing some of your values. If not--that is fine. Anyways, this is what I was wondering. It is a hypothetical.

Your boss wants you to choose between two men to hire as a youth camp leader. She wants you to choose whichever of the two is most likely to be a good influence on the youth and most especially will be trusted not to harm the youth. In short, she wants you to select the most moral and safe candidate. You investigate and find that "Bob" had once been charged with a fraudulent investment scheme and had bilked retired people of their savings. He was never convicted, however, because of a technicality. You have seen the evidence in support of the allegations, however, and you believe that Bob did indeed deserve to be charged. "Bill" has been honored several times for his work with youth and once risked his life in entering a burning building to save some children.

Which candidate will you choose?

Your boss does not have a gun.
